We don’t have enough words to encompass how great of an experience we had with Claudio. We started out looking at rentals, then ended up buying a new home and selling our townhouse, and Claudio was incredibly patient in sharing his guidance and wisdom every step of the way. This market had me pretty anxious at several points in both the buying and selling processes, but Claudio patiently talked me through it every time. We trusted him and he never disappointed us. He also had a network of people (mortgage lender, inspector, attorney, electrician, etc.) that were excellent and so helpful. I have already highly recommended him to people and will continue to do so. If we ever want to buy and/or sell property again, Claudio will be the first person we’ll turn to. We truly can’t recommend him and his team enough!!

This review is late but also an update!. Raluca has found me two great apartments two years in a row most recently very soon after I reached back out with a high stress email about needing to move asap due to nonrenewal due to sale on my previous unit. Raluca responded almost immediately and made me feel at ease from day 1.
Highly suggest using them for finding an apartment in the city. I sent in my budget and my "nonnegotiables" and had long list of apartments to look at within a few days. Once we had a spot I liked she knew which other units i wouldn't care for and the process moved very quickly from there. Claudio took us around to all of our showings as well which is so helpful since parking can be hard in the city. When I eventually will looking to buy a place I will 100% be using them for that as well. 10/10 would recommend. :]

What ease! Claudio was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and after getting the required parameters for my housing search, sent me over a number of possibilities every few days as they became available. A week before my trip to check out spots, I narrowed down locations and he setup viewings. For 4 hours, him and his wife, also a realtor, drove us around Chicago checking out apartments. At the end of our trail, they even went out of their way to bring me back to an earlier apartment I really liked just to get a second a second peek. Claudio is my go to agent for all real estate related requests. He helped me finding rentals at first, and then helped me become an owner of current apartment. In the process of purchasing this place, I was out of country for the longest time, he had to work with a totally opposite time zone and coordinate with all parties involved in the purchase when I was absent. This review is long overdue. I was in search of apartments around the August-September timeframe. If you know anything about Chicago this is the busiest time of the year and toughest to find an apartment. I reached out to several apartment agents to assist me with my search. I had no luck, no one called me back or wasn't quick to respond to my messages. I decided to search for assistance and with the help of Yelp that's when I saw all of the great reviews for Varo Real Estate. I decided to take my chances and reach out to the agency.

I left a message and the very next day a gentleman by the name of Claudio called me. He was very pleasant and listened to all of my needs "wish list" of everything I wanted in an apartment. Claudio would then send me listings everyday of all of the apartment listings according to my criteria (price range, location).

The apartment listings that Claudio found were great but he thought it maybe best to come into his office, meet, and view the apartments together. That way he could fully understand my needs. This was a great idea! That day we went through over 90+ apartments and we narrowed down the list of places I wanted to see in person.

We ended up looking at three apartments and I found the apartment for me. Claudio made sure from start to finish that the lease looked good, he called me and walked through the lease before I signed it, he talked with the apartment agency about getting my keys to me in time, and list of other things( the list goes on but for sake of space)

I've been working with Claudio over the past couple years, and he has been absolutely wonderful to work with! He sends me quality properties, lots of different options, and is very timely with responding and scheduling showings. I'm moving to Chicago for school and needed a decently priced apartment that's not too far from my school and the basic necessities. After being overwhelmed with the real estate options, I turned to a friend whom had moved to Chicago from my hometown. She gave me some helpful tips about areas of interest and what to avoid. But the best suggestion she gave me was to go through her realtor, Claudio Varo. She indicated that he was by far the best and, best of all, Free. Being a perpetual student and immersed in student loans, I couldn't turn it down.

Claudio is incredibly attentive and hardworking. I've never been more pleased by someone's work ethic and willingness to help regardless of the problem or situation. I filled out an application for a unit within a day (Of course, time was of the essence with school starting in mid-August). Overall, asking Claudio for help was one of the best decisions I've made.

I waited long enough to remove any stored emotions/thoughts from the whole process but even over two weeks after the whole process, I am still in awe of the service we received from Claudio.

I accidentally ran into Claudio through Lyft and found out Claudio is a full-time real estate broker. I had asked him to help me and my boyfriend find an apartment and he was on top of it! I have lived in the city for as long as I am an adult and usually have no problems finding an apartment through different channels... but it was different this time around. The market was so competitive and apartments were being taken even without actual showings! What I liked about Claudio is that his business values (integrity) truly aligned with mine - he was a true advocate for us and very honest from beginning to end. Claudio is by far the best real estate broker I have ever worked with. As someone who is new to Chicago and did not really know what to expect, he was extremely helpful in helping me find an apartment. My girlfriend and I were relocating to Chicago and had set up a few days in town to find a home. Claudio responded immediately to our inquiries, and after we told him what we were looking for, sent us new listings daily. When the time came to view the properties, he set up the viewings to show us the maximum number of apartments in our limited time.

What impressed us above all was that he truly seemed to have our best interests at heart. I signed a lease today for a rental apartment using his excellent knowledge and experience. For instance, in determining if a basement apartment had sustained flooding in the past. He could tell from the condition of the wood floors that there had been no water damage since the floor had been installed and could tell the floor had been present for quite some time.

I didn't even know realtors would help with rentals, but Claudio treated me like any other client. I also figured finding an apartment/rental in Chicago while I was living in Toronto was going to be a nightmare, but it absolutely was easy with Claudio.

He helped my boyfriend and I find the perfect apartment for us within a full week of knowing him. He asked me what were our wants and wishes in an apartment, and even though I gave him a long list, he managed to find a place with every single thing we wanted and under our budget! Claudio is so patient and genuine.I appreciated that he made sure to respond back to me as quickly as he could if I texted or emailed him. Claudio found me on twitter when I was starting my move from Wisconsin to Chicago and looking for an apartment. I had already worked with two other Realtors but they weren't understanding my needs, and it was difficult to meet up with them and decide when it fit both of our schedules. Claudio was great in helping myself and 4 roommates find a home to call our own. He was very patient in looking at houses with us, coming from Chicago to the suburbs. He was very responsive to any and all e-mails and phone calls that I sent to him, always responding the same day.

I definitely know finding a 4-5 bedroom home in our price range was a daunting task but I'm happy with the home he's found for us.
